Prodmake helps founders and businesses design products, build software, and improve how they operate. We work on customer-facing experiences and the internal systems behind them.
You can bring a defined project or a problem that still needs investigation. We help establish the scope, make the design and technical decisions, and deliver against agreed acceptance criteria.
What we can work on
Product strategy and definition
Turn an idea or business problem into a clear scope: who the product serves, what they need to accomplish, what already exists, and which constraints matter. The work can include customer journeys, prototypes, requirements, technical assessment, and the tradeoffs between building, buying, and connecting existing tools.
Product, interface, and visual design
Design websites, applications, customer portals, and operational interfaces. Scope can cover information architecture, user flows, typography, layout, interaction, accessibility, and reusable design systems. Onboarding, permissions, errors, and recovery deserve the same attention as the main product flow.
Software engineering and architecture
Build frontend and backend applications, data models, APIs, authentication, payments, integrations, and background processing. Work can start with a new product or an existing codebase that needs assessment, repair, or further development, including multi-tenant systems and offline-capable applications.
Business processes and operating systems
Design how work moves through a business: qualification, purchasing, onboarding, assignment, approvals, delivery, and support. Map the process, clarify responsibilities and exceptions, and decide what needs a procedure, software, or a human decision. We can design the process and implement the tools that support it.
Automation and AI-enabled workflows
Connect services, move information between systems, process documents, and assist with research or recurring production tasks. AI-enabled workflows need appropriate data access, review checkpoints, execution history, and failure handling. The task and the consequences of an error determine what can be automated.
Motion and product communication
Explain a product through promos, animated demonstrations, explainers, and ad creative. Motion, please. provides a focused way to commission this work, with its own packages, intake, review, and delivery process.
Technical leadership, delivery, and operation
Lead product, design, and engineering work through scoping, architecture decisions, implementation review, contributor coordination, and release. Delivery can include testing, deployment automation, monitoring, and production maintenance. Launch, handover, and any continuing support have explicit owners and limits.
Start with the work, then choose the tools.
We examine the people, process, tools, data, and constraints before recommending what to change. Some problems need custom software. Others need a clearer procedure, a better interface, or a connection between tools you already use. Decisions and responsibilities stay visible, with agreed evidence for acceptance.
Founder-led, with a defined delivery scope.
Kuan leads each engagement across product, design, and technology. The proposal identifies his direct involvement, any additional specialists required, and responsibility for delivery and agreed support. Staffing is confirmed for the project; AI tooling does not replace expertise, human review, or support arrangements.
Experience behind the work
Kuan’s experience includes client and fractional CTO work at Scoutbase, employment at Lane, employment and contract work at AuditBoard, and lead frontend contributions to Kazakhstan’s e-government services. Selected Thinking Systems products show owned-product capability from a separate company. These are different relationships, not a list of contracts held by Prodmake.
